Because parts kits can vary quite a bit from one kit to another, some fixtures may have a slightly different fit depending on the parts being used. For example, receivers we have encountered have measured anywhere from 34.97 mm to 35.18 mm. The fixture is 35.00 and we do our best to accommodate the range we see in the kits we work with.
The jig is designed for a snug fit but not to be too tight that it’s difficult to remove. This may require fitment and clearancing on your end. Due to the differences between individual kits and components, we cannot guarantee the exact same fit on every kit. Some variation in fit should be expected. Our fixtures are made with these differences in mind, and we generally favor allowing for a little more material rather than making the fit too loose.

The fixture is intended solely as an alignment and welding aid. It does not determine finished dimensions or replace the user’s responsibility for proper measurement, fabrication, welding, or inspection.
Some applications may require fitment or adjustment depending on the components being used.
Images showing the fixture or demonstration components are provided solely to illustrate the fixture’s physical characteristics and method of use. Demonstration components are not included unless specifically stated in the product listing.

Returns
Welding fixtures are eligible for return only if no parts have been installed on the fixture and the fixture is returned in its original, unused condition.
Returned fixtures must be free of scratches, damage, modifications, weld marks, or other signs of use. A restocking fee may apply to eligible returns.
Any welding fixture that has had parts installed, been modified or damaged, or otherwise shows scratches, weld marks, or other signs of use may not be eligible for return.

Jig worked out great, made fitting up the pieces and welding a breeze. I also bought the press plate which made getting the jig out easy I can tell it would’ve been a pain to get it out otherwise but thanks to the jig I really didn’t have much sanding to do on the inside of the tube even with my poor tig welding. Tip for building put your pieces from the kit on the jig and cut out painters tape to make a template for the patch piece it worked much better than trying to use cardboard tube for a template like I’ve seen others do.
