Star 70B Welding Jig – PREORDER

Description

CNC billet 6061 – Full length with 5/16” front thread with washer for a positive stop. 5/8” thread in rear for slide hammer removal.  

The jig will not set length that is done using your stock and shroud. A small section that over hangs is left for people who wish to remove the mandrel after welding with a shop press. This is the best method. The jig was designed off the different kits some but fitment may be required. The guns are built to a very loose tolerance from what we have seen. An exhaust expander helps get parts back to the factory inner diameter before and after welding. This is an advanced level build that requires the ability to weld and cut accurately. 

Jigs are made in production runs and will take as long as 4-6 weeks.
Jigs are non refundable once your parts are on the jig.
Restocking fee is 25% and this is non negotiable.

Depending on your fitment and how the jig is captured will dictate if it is reusable for multiple builds. Past experience with tig welding, we have gently pushed the jigs out and they will generally have light marring that can be cleaned up so that you may reuse the jig for another build. This is only for the star 70b.
